About this event
If you have ever flown into KTTD, Troutdale airport, via Happy Valley and while looking to the west there is a runway at the top of the hill with a large home at the end of it. Hmmm. How did this come about? Well this is the subject of Thursday night’s program. It, the airport, is a historical icon that started on Division street decades ago. We will explore the journey of Henry Troh’s airport and the eventual location in Happy Valley. Inclusive will be aeronautical charts and photos from the era. Anyone who has been flying or had a family member flying in the mid 20th century may have flown out of Henry Troh’s airports.
